I have been married to my wife, Mary, who loves to write, do photography, and help other women grow in their relationship with Jesus, since June of 1978. We have three adult children, Matt, Nate, Maegy.

I really enjoy doing anything that will get me outside. I like to Golf. I love to go the beach with family and friends. I like to try out new golf courses. I love to hike in the mountains. I enjoy golfing in the rain. I really love having backyard Bar-B-Qs with family and friends. Have I mentioned that I love to golf? I like to go camping, water skiing, and exploring new places. I also like just about anything that has anything to do with Golf.

I have had a wide range of experience in my professional ministry. I have done everything from work with infants and toddlers to leading rest home ministries. I have been a Youth minister, an associate minister of Christian Education, and Senior minister. I have worked with well established churches and have been involved in starting new churches. About the only thing that I haven't done is lead in worship, but I have a kazoo and I do know how to use it.

My educational background comes from three schools. My undergraduate training comes from Boise Bible College. My Graduate training (I'm still working on this) comes from Hope International University. And what I'm most thankful for is the 40 plus years of training I've had at S.O.L (School of Life). It has taught me many things, however nothing more profound than this life is not as long as we think so it's important to choose carefully the path we take through it!

My greatest passion is to connect with people in the process of living life. To join with them in sharing all this life brings our way it's questions, it's heartaches and joys, it's defeats and victories, and even it's disappointments and hopes and dreams. Connected to this is my desire to help people discover a God who not only created this universe but who knows each of us by name and who desperately wants us to know we are loved no matter who we are or what we have done!
